I've heard the V2 and they have a nice laid back yet full sound, and extended range. But there are better speakers for the money, search my posts.
dont buy the Access, they arent very good.
If you want to sepnd the money, go with the V2s. If you don't mind spending a little more go with the 165K2Ps. You won't be disappointed.

i was also considering the new premier's but they seem bulky/heavy.... idk

The new Premier's would be the best for the dollar that you have suggested so far. Incredible midbass driver on that set, lot of technology there. The bigger the better.
Even better would be the new Precision power 356cs.

Really??? I can get Premier/Pioneer stuff at cost...

- They are said to be one of the top sets under $500, and I tend to agree. Pioneer, unlike most companies, actually makes their own drivers... they even make drivers for other companies. Although they are known for their budget speakers, they have the ability to produce great speakers... looks like they finally have. Check out diymobileaudio.com forums, lots of info in the general and review forums.
