wow this guy is full of some major bulls**t. i will admit that there are few installers through bby that are actually capable of installing everything right. i work there and have had things installed there. in my entire district, i trust only 1 installer. 1 thats it. before i met him, i only had problems. so for anything more complex than comps and an amp or two, go to a reputable shop (unless you know the bby installer well enough.)

Not 100% sure, but it you have aground wire and it is grounded, and then u even touch it to a 12V power source it sparks! that to me would be the first clue that is is not hookde up right. THIS IS BS. My 9 yo son knows this, yet an installer at a company doesnt. Come on now. BB sucks, but................... ground a wire and touch it to your + battery terminal and see what happens!

x2 i find it kinda hard to believe someone could hook up to the wrong terminals and not know right away that something is wrong...
