im an installer at best buy as ive sed before. if you want ill tell you what to do to get your money back with out paying for a lawyer. its very easy to get money from best buy.

well, i would get a lawyer anyways.... no matter what cause if they really are the ones at fault they will be held liable for all lawyer expenses and a lawyer can usually get through to people better then an angry person who had part of their car burn down.... I am not siding at all with best buy but i also hope that your aware that you have fault in this situation by driving the vehicle while it was sparking and such.... If i were you i would edit all my comments and take out anything i said about them then go to a lawyer and go from there...

What I don't understand is, if the car was sparking and smoking the whole drive home, why the heck didn't you pull over and disconnect the main power wire? or at least the fuse...they did fuse it right? If things spark and smoke on my car, its immediate pullover and disconnect time before something goes up in smoke...at least until I can check it out later...
