$$500 Cant decide on comps....HELP

I am about to buy some diamond audio hex comps but of course i just cant put the money down until i know im getting what sounds best to me. Are there any other comps for around 500 i should check out that are comparable to the HEX comps?? Thanks

So the CDT HD series will beat the Diamond HEX? I'll have to check them out. Also has anyone heard the top of the line Arc components or heard anything about them?

Subjectivity is irrelevent when quality far exceeds that of it's competitors. CDT is regarded as the best high fidelity sound and construction in the business, no bones about it.

hah i am not denying the CDT is great, but there are plenty of other very high fidelity components out there...

Also, check out Peerless drivers and Vifa tweeters over at http://madisound.com. Those would make a killer combo.

No, it is not irrelevant. Subjectivity plays a big factor when it comes to components.
