plasmas have a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio where as your top of the line LCD is only a 50,000:1 contrast ratio, which means most plasmas blow any LCD out of the water picture quality wise.

not only that but the newest LCD's refresh at 120hz where as the older ones only do 60hz. every single plasma does 480hz. plasmas pwn LCDs hands down, your just another ignorant consumer

good luck repairing them if they break...and yes but they also use glass screens which is great...unless you dont have a movie room with no glare

also not all plasmas have a 1 million contrast ratio only ones with the cell light technology or w.e (natively)...some plasmas are like 15,000 n shit that 1,000,000 contrast ratio actually means nothing because it is the dynamic ratio not native (dynamic is just a certain test they do not actual real life situation..you should know what i mean though...you sell em)

also most TVs on the market have around 12ms refresh rate which our eyes cant even pick up ( unless its more than 16ms, our threshhold for noticing) so what youre saying is unnoticeable to the human eye...and again, just a selling point with minimal difference to the ***** eye

btw i dont sell TVs and couldnt help myself...thats why i never buy from places based on what they tell me half of it is soooo much BS

this is true the picture is being refreshed so fast it is unnoticeable to the human eye, but it also causes pixelation and artifacts to appear on LCD's when there is alot of motion. it was actually pretty funny I was watching water polo today on an older samsung that does only 60hz and the pool was just a bunch of little squares from all the motion, looked like shit. and your not ignorant thankyou for proving me wrong.

psh i was watching water polo on my 8 yr old tube tv and it didnt even look like squares...just stop talking and do some more research for your job before you get fired because they hired an ignorant kid like me

i have a few good trade offers just seeing what my best options are. jeez if i put my 46"lcd on here will that start a tv war too??? lol.
