5" Pvc

do they make 5 inch PVC?

if so, is it uncommon or hard to find

i was looking through the Menard's add and didnt see 5 inch, only 4 and 6

i'd rather find out they dont make it today then to find out when i go buy the shit and have to make port calculation adjustments on the fly

it was 4 five inchers at 16 long each

should i go with 4" or 6"?

edit: its for SPL strictly, tuned to 55 Hz, CRX style

if you want to go even larger there are form tubes at home depot and lowes. think they go anywhere from like 4 inches to 12 inches in diameter. it's made of a dense cardboard so the best thing to do is soak it in fiberglass resin being carefull about how much you use. you don't want to change the inner diameter and having too much on the outside will make it a ***** to install. just enough to saturate it and then sand it smooth

Yes they make 5" pvc I work in the electrical industry and we use it all the time

4" and 6" seems to be more common.

They aren't going to carry 5" at a Lowes or Home Depot or something though... you'd have to go to an electrical/plumbing company and see if they could order up a piece to sell to you, that is if they don't have one.

yea 5" is going to be hard to find, I would go 6", im pretty fond of it, and there are plenty of elbows if one is required.
