.5 ohms or 2 ohms

i have a 12" soundstream t14 dual 1 ohms in a 2.35 cu ft box pushed by a crossfire vr1000d at 2 ohms in a Eclipse hatchback.

Can i run that amp at .5 ohms with another battery or should i just be safe and leave it at 2ohms?

What would be the best way to face the port?

1 ohm maybe i dunno about .5 daily on those vr's i never wanted to try it with my vr2000d's i had.... and as far as box try sub up port back it works well in hatchs......
