i like the polk. i have the momo 6.5 and the tweet looks a hell of alot better than the rsd tweet if you ask me. lol ive never heard the rsd's but ive heard alot of people say the tweet is harsh. the momo tweet is pretty melow. i like mine.

you know the mmc525 and the mmc5250 are different right. the 525 is just the coax with the detachable tweet, 5250 is the component set.

why? he showed concern for the harshness of the tweet on the rsd, i was explaining the momo tweet is mellow and that the tweet on the rsd is ridiculously ugly and the momo looked better.

Wow, now people are commenting on how ugly the PG tweet is, lol! Some people.

Anyway, I say get the PG's. They are a nice set and I have never heard the Polks, but honestly these speakers can't get beat for 75 bucks.

Also to the people that are blowing their tweeters, are you people putting to much power to them? I am running only 75rms to each side and it is plenty for me and I have had some expensive sets from mild tweets to very harsh. I say these are right in the middle.

Yea I question some of the people with the tweeter issues. It sounds more like user error than anything.. As for the way the tweeter looks, lol it looks like well a tweeter.... The tweets are very crisp sounding.,

It usually is user error if you ask me.

I could care if the tweeter looked like Howard Stern. As long as it performs well, then I am happy.

some of the people saying they are harsh are probally the same sorta people running $5 neo's on the top corners of their windshields and thinking they sound great or/and running 6x9's in the rear deck....the more the better.....

I am running just this one set of Rsd's and my factory rear speakers for now till I go active, if I do go active.

i'm thinking about updating my REV 6x8's in my Focus to RSD's....i have two bnib sets of the 6.5 RSD's...but the REV's do sound pretty nice so its hard to change...

I had to do some crazy baffles to make them fit right. Took me like 2 hours to do one side, lol! I was drinking beer with a buddy though. Who knows what else happened those days as it took 2 days to do as well, lawlers!

I heard the Revs sound good too. Try it out and compare them.

^^ Dont count out the ryvals. I know that sounds crazy, but I bought some ryval 6x9s just for the hell of it, and wow they sound good. Im going to put my pg m25 on them to give them a full review when it arrives. So far, one of the best 6x9s ive heard. Much much better than the octane crap speaker line. Some people have even liked the ryval subs better than the rsds. Either way, great bang for the buck products.

Might have to check them out. I may replace the rear stock speakers with some coxials if I don't go active.
