5.25" in the A-pillars

A buddy wanted me to make him some A-pillars with 5.25" speakers in them.. so I did! lol Here's some neat pics.

Lots more sanding and priming and it's ready for paint!

I used Duplicolor Enamel spray cans!

Disaster!!!!I dropped one when I was picking it up to get the bottom edge painted.. crap! Oh well, once it's dried more sanding and painting for meee

I'll hook him up with them on Monday, hopefully get a chance to toss em in quick so I can get installed shots.

 
I didn't really realize they were pointing so far down until they were finished and in, another 40 degrees up would've been better, yea. They sound OK, I guess, I listened for like.. a song, and didn't hear anything magical. It's more show off it seems.

raise them up and point them towards the inner shoulder of the seat on the oppsite side, and you should hear a huge improvement, right now your totally off access, basically just as bad as door mount, but the stage may sound a little higher, maybe, but then your tweets are pointing down and your getting more reflection that on axis sound from them so you stage may be lowered because of that.

You have skills with the glass, do them over, and yo ushould really see a difference.
