get a 6 channel amp, and a head unit that supports 5.1

^^^^ out board processor does not work with the 6600, only the 7000. I have been trying to get eclipse to mod my 6600 to accept it and they won't.

You have to have a signal processor to 5.1. I had it in my old car and am currently installing it in my new car. I have Alpine D310 HU and the W200/H701 processor. The car has 3 opening in the dash for speakers. 1 center and 2 on the side. My setup will be center speaker, JL ZR comps tweets on the other 2 dash openings, Jl ZR comps 5.25 on the doors, and some speakers on the rear dash. Also will have 12W7 for the sub. I will have JL A-series 6 channel amp running the speakers.
