5 1/4 v. 6 1/2 components.

Is there really much of a difference between 2 sets of the same brand and type that are different sizes? Is the additional size worth the extra hassle in an application where the 5 1/4 fit right in while the 6 1/2 require quite a bit of metal work from the looks of things?

what does the rest of your setup look like? Depending on where you sub lowpass is setup it might not make a bit of difference.

the sub is able to play high enough where it should be able to blend in regardless.

i had 6.5 zapco comps and i upgrade to the zapco reference 5.25 and i think the 5.25 sound better.

6.5VS 5.25 same speakers the larger speakers will usually have more midbass
