How will it be used? full range? midrange? what particular speakers we talking here? placement? power?

Im putting them in the dash full range ive heard round speakers sound better is that true?

Get oval speakers if that's what came from the factory, unless you want components. Unless you have other speakers up front you want the 4x6 to get more bass on the same amount of power. Otherwise you have to get 4" components because nobody makes a 4x6 mid woofer.

There are reasons an oval speaker might sound worse than an equivalent round speaker, but I can't say I've ever seen anyone do an in-depth comparison. They sound fine to my ears.

I have a 6.5 component set in the doors. I was thinking about getting some 4'' coaxials for the dash do u think 4x6 would give me more mid bass?

I forget to consider that a good 4" might have better bass than a 4x6. When you look at a 4" like CDT Audio CL-4EX this offers a bigger motor than many 4x6s.

I might just get the imagedynamics 4'' ctx or maybe. Some rockfords they should sound decent

I have a couple of high end sets of old school 4" componets...I have a brand new set of Boston Acoustics and a brand new set of MB Quarts...Ive ran both but the Boston s really shine if you want SQ in a limited space @bumpin focus and @SpiderMonkey
