4X6 plate??

I need new 4x6 for the rear of my silverado. Would the 4x6 plates sound better than the traditional speaker style.

It's really going to come down to what specific speakers we are talking about. It's impossible to generalize that plates > "regular", or that regular > plate.

I will say that the Boston 746 series 4x6 plates are one of the best sounding 4x6 speakers I've personally heard, and they can be found for very reasonable prices.

Actually for the money Ive loved all of the Eclipse SE sets. Well under $100 for a great sounding set.

I was planning on spending about 100. I had ordered the Infinity Kappa 462.7cfp but for some reason they made these speaker 2 ohm so i sent them back. I bought Kenwood Excelon KFC-XR701 for the front. I need somthing under 100 that does not require an amp and would sound good.

I have a set of bnib Diamond D3 4x6 plates and used Infinitys Refrence 4x6 plates for sale if you want.... I also own a Silverado but I dont use rear fill.............

I would still have to say to go with the Eclipses then, especially being theyre well under your budget..

Eclipse???

we do a lot of eclipse point source speakers, they sound great. i would recomend them for your applaction

The Eclipse would be either SE8465A, or the more expensive SP8944 which I dont think would fit your budget.
