I'm having some trouble getting these things to hit like I know they should, and I think it may be because of wiring, but i'm not sure...

The subs are in separate chambers. On each sub I wired each coil + to + & - to -next running a wire from one + and one - in each chamber to its corresponding terminal. Lastly I attatched a wire to each of the outside post terminals on both sides and connected them to 2 sets of+ & - inputs.

Shouldn't this show a 1ohm load? What am I doing wrog here?

Do it like so, then they will boom like so, assuming your gains are set per the tutorial...
