4ohm-6ohm

im just curios is there any way to run a 4ohm sub on a 6ohm amp im not sure what to do any advise would be great.
If the amp is only 6 ohm stable and the speaker is a SVC 4 ohm, then it is not a good idea. The amp will either heat up really bad and eventually go into protection which could make it fail. Or it may not even turn on at all if it realizes the impedence is too low. I would not recommend it. What amp and speaker are you tyring to use together?

to be honest i dont even know what kind it is it just say on the # plate 496433wei 6ohm thats all it says so im not sure what the deal is with it. the sub is a american pro vs-9112c 4ohm 800w 12"
