Not sure if they still got it but I had bought a craftsman crossover box back about 6 years ago for like $200 would work perfectly for some batteries and that massive amp of yours leaving all the more room in the cab for a WALL lol. I'm just pushing you to do it cause I'm too chicken/poor/cheap to do it in my truck, but you do seem to make me think of it whenever you talk about you system lol.

yea right my box was 17 cubes and too big for the DPs. id suggest 7 cubes a piece for them

Not sure if they still got it but I had bought a craftsman crossover box back about 6 years ago for like $200 would work perfectly for some batteries and that massive amp of yours leaving all the more room in the cab for a WALL lol. I'm just pushing you to do it cause I'm too chicken/poor/cheap to do it in my truck, but you do seem to make me think of it whenever you talk about you system lol.

A tool box or a tonneau will probably happen to store batteries, don't really wanna put an amp in the back for heat concerns in the summer though.

i think 14 cubes would work well for those IA DP 21"s.

if not, id say two 18" BTLs or two 18" nightshades (if you can get your hands on them).

oh forgot about the nightshades... good idea! but im stickin with the 3 IXL 18's sealed that would have incredble bottom end, way into the 20-25hz range (way beyond what you would EVER need basically)

Oh I know, need to pull the back seat out for anything beyond some light tuning on my amps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif 18mm socket and wrench and out it comes, heavy SOB though so I just push it as far towards the front as I can, gives me just enough room to stand between it and the amp rack and do some work, gonna have to do it this weekend to get my computer finally hooked up, least I hope its the last time lol.

Last time I crunched some numbers I think I could put 6 15's ported fairly easily in a wall, that plus the power to feed them and electrical to back it up could buy me a small beater car lol.

I keep leaning towards the 3 IXL's sealed...always wanted to try a decent sized sealed setup. Thats where you got me beat man. The carputer and fiberglassing and such I'd love but I just don't have the skills/patience for it.

Electrical is the big downer for big systems. Amps/subs are expensive but wire, batts, alt, etc are the "hidden" cost that eats up the wallet.

Definately another thought. Possibility I could do some 1508's over the winter and something along the lines of the BTL's for spring to throw in for comps. 4 1508's would be a fun temp setup...I have the power to drive 8 decently but thats too big of an investment.

Theres a good chance I'll do 4 1508's over the winter just for fun then when the comps start rolling again in spring then I'll do some 18's and try to be halfway loud.
