Hi there,
My auto elec mate has become even more useless so I am here to try and get this sorted.
The plan:
Use my 4ch amp that I am using to run my front speakers on to be able to have ch1+2 switched off and enable 3+4, and reverse of that.
Reason:
due to getting cost price audio gear it cost me next to nothing to get another set of speakers I am using on the front, so hey why not put a set of speakers into the boot so when I am sitting around camping, or ect with mates why not have some music? and by only using the boot speakers this saves the car battery using all 3 amps when the boot speakers are more then enough.
Things to consider:
So far I can cut off the sub amp and the amp for rear speakers (switch, fairly simple), next thing is I have an rca running to the amp already for ch1+2, I am thinking put a splitter on there and have ch1+2+3+4 all working, this is all good but I would like either the the following:
1) Front Speakers on | Boot Speakers off
2) Boot Speakers off | Front Speakers on
3) Front Speakers on | Boot Speakers on
Just Wondering:
Would running 4 relays cause much sound quality loss? had a mate saying the relays could cause some interference?
