400 Watts...

I'm thinking about trying out some new sub(s).

Either 1 sub going 400 w @ 4 ohms or 2 subs going 200 watts at 2ohms each.

I would prefer to keep it one sub...

SQL setup. more SPL than SQL, (60/40). It possible with this power?

Yeah, i thoght about doing maybe a 12" CVR / Type R, and do a ported box myself.

Do you think I could fit a 15 in my trunk...It is a 95 Grand Prix.

The RE SR's are 300rms, but can take 400rms daily I'm sure.

Um, Memphis Street Edge's are very nice, 200rms each, and I can get them 2 for $120, they're probably the best subs for the least amount of cash I'd say, two would be nice for you (I had two off of 400rms and they were pretty loud)

I think the type s's will run off of 400rms nicely too (might be able to get away with a type r, but I'd get more power if going to that )
