just read the print in the blurry pics. its a HPS ballast. so MH bulb with HPS base....unless im not reading hard enough.

MH conversion bulb can operate on a 400 watt HPS ballast which is what I'm selling.

good stuff. Yea I didnt have the money/didnt want to spend the money for another ballast so I bought the conversion bulb. It worked pretty **** good, the box says it puts out 38,000 Lumens.
