I'm selling a used but in EXCELLENT working condition HTG Supply 400 watt ballast and lamp reflector. I'm including the 400 watt HPS and the 400 watt MH conversion bulb. this lamp/ballast works in a regular household outlet, staight out the box you're ready to go. The tab on the corner of the reflector hood is broken (see pic) but that does not affect functionality at all. Any questions please ask. $125 plus shipping or OBO/TRADES

assuming you were running the lights 12/12 or 14/10 on/off for a few months , did you notice an increase in your electricity bill?

ive been thinking about doing something , but i dont know if i should go with the T5 lighting or the MH/HPS route..

any 400w hps light running off 120v is going to pull a significant amount of current to affect your bill.

it's not a muli-voltage ballast is it? it would be better to run this at 220v if you're able to...
