The kicker kx400.1 a really good, and strong amp. Im using one on my 10" l7 right now it it works great. Also have used it to power to audiobahns 12 400rms each it it had pleanty of power to get the subs to hit hard.

kicker on ebay new willl be like 150 or so but its worth it. it will not disapoint you.

the kicker is a good idea, maybe check out the clarion APA2001 they can be found cheap on ebay

Clarion, US Acoustics, Profile and Avionixx can all be had for cheap (though, for the Avionixx you'll likely have to look for a used one)
