$400 for a In dash head unit. Help me pick!

I'm talking of what I can buy online and on ebay. I have been looking at a select few

The clarion 865mp

The Pioneer 780MP

Alpine Cda9857

I had a Alpine 9833 and was happy with it but it was stolen. Now I'm seeing alpine only offers 2v preouts?? Whats up with that?? If any of you have good experiences and can offer some opinions I would appreciate it. I'm mainly going for something equivalent of what I had.

If your budget is $400, you're willing to buy off of eBay, and you're not looking for DVD capabilities then you're options are pretty wide open, friend.

The three you listed..........Pioneer Premier 880PRS, Pioneer 9800BT, Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X789, X790, X889, X890, XXV-01D, manoman.....this could be a really long list!

There's an Alpine 7998 in our Classifieds, I think....older unit but very, very nice.

There's Eclipse has more than a couple of really nice units in your budget...especially if you don't mind buying used from a reputable source....

Like I said....could potentially be a very long list with a $400 cap on the HU budget.

I dont honestly need a ton of features. Something with at least a 4v preout. I didn't know if any brands that I listed were better than one another. I have always used alpine but it seems their newer units are piss poor. I would go with eclipse but the unit needs to be detachable.

i hate spamming but im selling my Clarion DXZ955, 1 above the 865, just last years

has music cacther(put a cd in and hit record and it will record an individual song or the whole cd to the HU, kinda like mp3 player and you can go back in at any time and listen to it) and more eq, maybe some more stuff dont really know
