sue me, its a ford.
Looking for a little amp that does 400-450 at 1ohm, or 4 ohm 2 channel. Pushing a set of re 12's aeroported at 30 hz. i was looking at a kicker 400.1, but only 2 ohm stable, then a kicker 400.2 rated at 400 at 4 ohm, but it does around 600??!. Can re's take 600?

Are your subwoofers dual 4 ohm? If so, your choices are 1 ohm mono, 4 ohms mono, 2 ohms stereo, or 8 ohms stereo.

In your case, I would look for a 4 ohm mono capable class a/b amplifier that delivers the power you need in lieu of running your subs @ 1 ohm.
