cone area (aka displacement potential) has a lot to do with how low the frequency will go...it will move, it just wont be audible... you know, since 4 12's have more cone area than 2 15's, they can audibly hit lower frequencies....

maybe some of you should go look at the threads explaining that stuff.

Is the last multi-page arguement over cone size versus LFE even off the first page yet?
Not to mention, its a fairly obtuse subject, that still seems to be a mystery to some people. No matter how many times they rehash it.

I've heard loud L7's, but I've yet to hear any that sounded good IMO. I'd try to demo some subs locally and see what sounds good to you.
