4 sundown e-8s in a ABC BOX, just a ?

just bought 4 e-8's in a a abc box and the guy said that they could take more power in the box. is this true? just how much do e's like i was think like 1500 would be good? any info helps

You have any specs on that box or can point us to who built it or has them. I was always told having woofers firing in different directions caused issues. Cool looking box anyway.

 
My abc boxes always lowered powerhandeling. But I built them big. I see nothing about the design that would raise powerhandling.
Anyway they'll be fine off 1500. Especially a sundown 1500.
It can increase mechanical handling because of the two tuning points both causing a null in excursion at those points. It doesn't really change thermal power handling though.

 
not thermally made to handle it.. They will do fine for a while but WILL burn up.. I think the highest recommended for em is 5-600 TOPSS
You have it backwards. Thermally it can, mechanically it cannot. Idk how me stating I have done it can be responded with it cannot take it though.
