4 RE8s w/ 4ohm finnal load?

Im kinda stumped on how to wire 4 re8s because I have heard different wiring options, some say they are d4 others say they are s2. If I order 4 from RE can I achieve a final 4ohm load? Ive got a cl800 to work with.

the new ones are DVC4, 4 DVC4 subs can be wired to 0.5, 2, 8, or 32 ohms

Yea my amp gets a lil warm when the se is at 2ohm mono. But im gonna install a couple fans soon and Ill see how it works out. Also ive been thinking about this for a while but im not sure if it would work. You think its possible to hook up a dummy load with a sub to change the impedance? I really dont see how it wouldnt work...well maybe it would drop the output.

Orion used to make some kick *** dummy loads. They usually come in 2 ohm and 8 ohm loads. Check ebay.
