4 re8s or 1 sx12??!? or what?

ok i have 250$ what to get? well ive wanted an re for awhile but i cant decide witch would be louder? i know the 8s will sound alittle better but will either be louder than my 2 12" audiobahn 400 rms natural surrounds in abc boxes? i know just about anything will sound better but will it be louder? or what do you reccomend? thanks.

yeah i like the idea of 4 8s, but i prefer single woofers, the 8s should wang pretty hard

4 8s have more cone area than even a 15, but the REs only have the SX12 by only 3 cubic inches when it comes to volume displacement, plus the SX12 can handle alot more power than the 4 re 8s, and im a big fan of single sub setups, so sx12 ftw

Yep go with the 1 12. But 4 would look and sound cool too. I am sure I just helped you,lol!

the 12 would go deeper, but both of the setups could work off of 800 watts. both setups would need about the same volume but fitting a 12 would be easier than four 8's. Personally i think 8's are pimp, but they are almost... what would say not quite up to par. RE makes great products all around so either way u'll be satisfied.
