4 Kicker CVRs VS 2 Alipine Type Rs

d4' wont give u a 1 ohm load with 4. u need dual 2's but if u had dual2's i would get the cvr's. i had 4 of those they got petty loud. the r's are loud 2 but i dont think they are loud enough to overcome the cvr's cone area.

i have two dual 2 ohm kicker cvrs and was wishing to get 2 more.. how would that make a 1 ohm load. the only way i know how to wire it would be to get a 2 channel amp and wire them two to a channel so that the amp sees 2 x2 ohm loads and the amp would need to put out close to 800 watts x 2 at 2 ohms

It makes a 1 ohm load easily... Each cvr is wired to 4 ohms, and then two wired together to 2 ohms, and then each pair wired together to 1 ohm.

OP: You can't wire 4 cvr's to a 1 ohm load. Go with the type R's, then.
