4 Kicker CVR Box Help

except make it 34" x 30" x 14" and make the port 6" wide and have it extend to 6" from the back wall. that should get you ~4.7 ft^3 tuned to ~34Hz

put the subs on top and port to the back (SUV i'm assuming).

this box is quite a bit small, and probably doesn't have enough port area, but it's the best i could come up with given your dimensions.

I don't think you have enough room to work with to go ported. Just make a big sealed box. If you go ported, tune high to maximize your air space in your enclosure, your port won't take up that much room if you tune around 36-38hz vs. 30-32hz.

See I had a seal box but I sold it because I wanted to go ported... So about what size should I build a seal box and see I like that deep bass that comes with a ported box

Like okay... I kno if I tune high or what not I will get everthing from High bass to mid bass and I might get a few low notes... But I wanna try and get the type of low bass that you can hear coming down the street or the type should I say that can shake a window or something of that nature

no, mid+high bass is like way above 100hz, even if you tuned to 50 hz, i doubt you will have any noticeable output above 80 hz , and even if you did tune high you will still be able to play low notes you just have to watch out for "bottoming out"

actually the kind of bass that shakes everything in my car is around 45-50 hz (and im tuned to 30 hz) ever car is different and different things vibrate at different hz

Ay I gotta idea but ion kno if it will work or not... Like okay I know this box sounds crazy... Like if I put to of the CVR's on the front of the box like u would do a normal box and then put the other two on the top do you think I can port the box then:up2somet:

i don't think that would allow you to make the box any bigger, so no. and it could cause cancellation issues.

maybe just try a big sealed box and see how you like it. it will definitely have a much flatter response than a ported box that small, whether you tune it high or low.
