4 guage wire

Hi every one,

I need your advice for the following.

Ive alphine amp 640 watts which is running on 4 guage wire now i want to add one mono 1200 watts pioneer amp for subwoofers electrician told me that he will put connector and make two connection from the existing wire. I told him to give the direct line to another amp from the battery.

Need your help in this regard.

You mean 2 runs of 4 gauge? you could do that or just use 1 run of 1/0 and be done with it.
