4 cvr 12" for $300?

I got a guy who has 4 of these in a box....he wants 300 for them. I'm goin to look at them tonight, but what do you guys think of these? more towards SQ?

to me it doesn't sound like a really good deal, i don't know what year they r or how good of condition they r in, but i do know if you look around on ebay you can pick up the new ones for like 75 shipped, at least you could about a month ago.

I agree, $300 sounds a little steep. I bought a brand new pair off ebay for around $180 shipped a few years ago. You can get them much cheaper and new on ebay. But if they came with a good box and a good solid brand amp, then I'd say it's a good deal if you're looking for some loud subs. I loved them at first because they got loud (when I was younger and was really into loud bass) but now I hardly play them because they're not clean sounding subs. They getting annoyingly loud for my taste now-a-days.

Well since you have the room for four 12s, why not go for a higher end 15, or even 18?

This guy is right, for SQ you need to port them very low and not give them too much power. That's the best they can do SQ wise, take my word for it. It's not horrible though.
