4 channle amp, how to install RCA's?

i have found some RCA splitters in my ca box that i never knew i owned. They are 1 in and 2 out. So coul di run 1 set of RCA's from the deck, use the splitters, and have 4 into the amp? If this would work, here is my next question.

Which rca OUT on the amp should i use. The front speaker channle, or the rear speaker channle? Would it even matter?

Im guessing by your assumtion that im using only two channles, i have to use 2 set of RCA's to run all 4 channles?

so why not just take the extra time to run another set of rca's i cant imagine the signal is going to be all that great if you split it i mean most head unit only run 2 volt preouts anyway that split and you might as well not use an amp.. i dont know just my 2 cents i guess

YES you need to run 2 sets of rca's other wise all your sound will be coming from whatever preout your running off of. meaning if you run rcas from the front preouts into all 4 channels sound that is supposed to come from the front is all ur gonna hear. does yoou headunit have front, rear, and sub preouts? if so you will run rcas from the front, and rear to the 4 channel amp and sub to ur sub amp.

ok, thats what i needed to know, wasnt to sure about that. Yes my HU has 3 outs. guess i get to go spend another $45.00 on medium quality RCA's (**** canadian prices)

He won't lose any voltage by splitting the RCA's (well.. it won't be noticable at least).

BUT, if you want to retain front to rear fading capabilities.. you need to run two sets of RCA's to the amp.

Really? So let's say you split a 5v rca, how much would each pair then have?

I can vouch for their RCAs, they scream quality, I have the Krystal Kables and I doubt you'd find anything better for the price.
