4 Channel Amplifier Decision

I am looking for a new 4 channel amp, preferably 75 X 4 watts or greater. I am willing to spend up to $300, but would be willing to go over if it was really worth it. I have been looking at the Soundstream VGA320.4 but I found quite a few people complaining about rca input problems, and have heard a few stories about Van Gogh amps blowing up. I have also been looking at the Soundstream Rubicon 600/4 which has the exact same specs as the Van Gogh, but I could not find as much information about it as the Van Gogh. Other amps that I have been considering are the Orion 8004 refurb, Phoenix Gold X100.4, MB Quart RAA4200, and the Kicker KX650.4. Any ideas?

i.... and be sure to wire all your speakers in series for a 1 ohm load

I have a 320.4 in my trunk with a tiny fan on it and I have been running it in 4 channel mode for about 6 months, and I just switched it to bridged and I havent noticed any problems what so ever. SS stopped making these amps as of 2005, if you can still find one I would get it or go for the new Tarantula series.
