4 8s vs 1 15?

im lookin for a a sq/spl setup i ordered an atlas 15...and i was wondering if 4 RE8s would do the trick (keep in mind this is a standard cab truck) i have a Directed D600 to push them, and as i recall the re8s are 150rms so 4x150 is 600 so i have the right ammount of power for both setups...im just trying to kill cutting my cab because i may not wanna keep my truck for to much longer. also i discovered i have another 2inches of depth behind my seats aster i remove all the plastic, so im kindof leaning towards the 8s

ipersonally like the 8's its more sub, obviously better looking, and i think it will sound a whole lot better

i agree on the 8's. If you run them at say 75% they will probably still sound better than a 15 at 75%. Just comon sense but i have been proven wrong before.

You do realize you're gonna have to pay an extra $25 per sub to use em with that amp, right? Is it a 600d or a d600?

BTW how much room do you have? I thought the atlas needed like 2.5 cubes while re8s need like .35 cubes.

Four 8s were cool three years ago as well. Plus, 8s have an impression factor. A well built single 8 that sounds like two semi-decent 10s is nothing to stick a shake at.
