I have a total of 4.618 cf (1in mdf) or 5 cf (.75in mdf). I am looking to compete semi-seriously. I will start at more local shows and if I do well, I will invest more time and effort. I am looking at USACi as it has more shows in my general area. I will use the 40.1 so I will be in the 301-900 class. They don't have basic stock anymore (atleast from the 2006 rulebook)

Anyways, my question is this, with such limited airspace, what is my best option? It seems I could do 1 15, 2 12s, or 2 10s (and what type). I am not really concerned with price as I understand such financial commitments are necessary,

im not really familiar w/ USACi rules or competitors or anything, but...

1 - 15'' AQ HD3

1 - 15'' RE MT

1 - 15'' TC4hp

1 - 15'' DD9515

i think a 40.1 would be kind of overkill for all those setups though.

Thanks,

I wasn't sure which was better, more cone area or more box space.

Most 15s I see like 4-5cf each, I guess it is a joke I do not get.
not a joke at all... could be vehicle dependant, but matt, david and i took 1st at usac finals running under 2 cubic feet per 15" RE MT //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

shreveport aye???

when designing a vehicle specificly for SPL use... you usually make LOTS of boxes to see what type of numbers you get from those said box

I see...and to think I was considering 10s...thanks for the suggestion!

It's a trunk car, but I can make the 15s fit ported, it will be a b*tch and they will have to be slot ported to the side, but I can make it work.
