for 11 cubes that is very small...it is only 4.5 square inches of port per cube of box. Most people recommend between 14-17 square inches of port per cube.

 
thats what i thought. he said the kicker manual has a 3.5 cube box with one 4" port for the subs that he has. that was for one 15". so he was going to use 3 i said to use at least 4 but it still seemed to small. i also have 8" sonotube around. would 2 of the sonotubes work?

 
10 square inches per cube. but the box is 11cubes? im hoping thats for 3 15s not 2. ill be using a 10" for 8cubes and yeh 2 8" would work good

The black rca out is your mono sub output. That is the one you would use for signal to your sub amp.

And you failed to mention airspace of the box or the sub and power you were running. In 89 most subs were extremely low xmax meaning very little...
