I think the rule of thumb is 10-15"^2 of port per cubic ft.

4" port = 12.5"^2

6" port = 28.2"^2

^ When using aero's or round port designs you can get away with half of that .

8 square inches for aeros per cube seems to be good

ive got a 6.5cube box with 4 4" aeros. for 8cubes id probly do 6 4"

4" aeros are much cheaper they are about $1 per square inch where as a single 6" is like the price of 3 4" aeros

2 6" ports, more volume and also with ports you want the least amount of surface area possible(thats the reason you run 2 4's instead of say 8 2's), in all actuallity the best combo in that volume area would be a single 8" port, you could just use sonotube and make your own flare.
