4 12's vs. 2 15's

Was wondering what would hit harder and have more flex 4 12's or 2 15's; in a blow through ported s-10.

Of course it depends on the subs, but easily the cone area and motor force of the 12s should out do the 15s...

12s more cone area but just get 2 bad *** 15s and it will do the trick

Well i'm kinda having to stick to audiopipes which arent the best subs in the world i understand that but was just wonderin what everybody thought wuld do best

The reason is is because my dad is helping me afford this addiction i have and the model im using is the TXX-APX series

Why is your Dad stuck on buying Audiopipe? Go to Ebay and show him all the options for the money. I've seen people get pretty good numbers on Audiopipes but it was usually right before they blew!

Better idea is to let us know what your budget is and we can fit it to something that may be better suited for ground pound.

If you're going with 4 12's chances are you are taking the cheaper route (audiopipe) and not going to get the same quality subs as you would if you spent that same money on half the amount of subs. With that being said, DC level 4's model up great for bandpasses which is what you must be doing since it's a blowthrough.
