4 12's or 2 15's

If you had to choose between either of the setups which would you choose?

I ask this because i had 2 15's and loved the bass the 15s hit.

But my friend used to have 4 12's and they wanged so hard, even though they were cheap jvc G-funks, but i used to think that setup was loud as hell just didnt hit those lows right.

I

m guessin that if i get quality 4 12's i wont miss out to much on the deep bass that a 2 15inch setup would provide.

Any comments?

They both play the same notes, one is just bigger than the other.

and a 10 can play just as low as a 12.

and no, 15 play lower than 12's. its just 12'' type r's play low enough for me

umm guys do the math..48" of cone area, or 30...no brainer go for the 4 12's...but it all depends on what 12's if it is the same as the 15's obv. go for the 4.
