I admire your enthusiasm and I do think that the box turned out OK (read you did good on the build). However putting two different types of subs in the same box powered with different amps is an exercise in futility. Why do you think some comments have been harsh? Because most of us have done similar things in our youth. Audio has a learning curve. Some try helping by sarcasm, others just offer their support.

I think you should have at least divided the airspace and put the two MTX subs on one side (own airspace, own amp) with the eclipses on the other with their own amp. That way at least the subs are not competing for the same air and working against each other.

Think of it this way. If you took a V8 engine and on one half of the engine put smaller pistons (assume the block is "fitted" to the pistons) you will have an engine that not only is NOT efficient but likely will tear itself apart. In that box you have 2 pistons with a certain set of "dynamics" which are NOT shared with the others.. Instead of increasing your piston area you are effectively making your subs work against one another. I would be VERY surprised if those 4 would be louder than just two in the same box.
