4 10" Power HX2s Vs. 2 15" Power HX2s...

In light of CRXBMPN's for sale thread... he has made me an offer of his 2 15" RF Power HX2 15"s, or his 2 Mojo 15"s for my 4 10" RF Power HX2s...

Overall, which is a potentially "louder"/"better" choice?

Well the 2 15's have the advantage of cone area, but its up to you on if you wanna go through the hassle of the shipping and building a new box and stuff like that. If your looking to try something new then by all means go for it, but if you like the wow factor of 4 10's then keep them. Like dbfan said its basically a flip of a coin. Just do what you wanna do.

well... the only disadvantage of the 2 is shipping...

Ive never heard the 10s yet... never built a box...

Still sitting on the floor of my livingroom. I can make a day trip to him in a couple hours, so its really not a total PITA to make the swap. Im just uncertain as to which setup would be more impressive in a Tahoe.

Thats the cone area difference in square inches. I would say go for the 4 10's. Especially if you had the power to push all 4 of them very well. Off teh same power the 2 15's miiiggghhttt be louder, but thats all subjective. Definately if you can power the 4 10's to their absolute highest potential they couullddd be louder. Plus it gives you head room to work with having the 4 10's, and its a hassle to change since you already have them.
