if u cant hit 145 with 4 10's on 3k there is somthing wrong i did 144 with 4 RE 8's on 800watts tuned to 30hz

Those things should definitely get in the mid 40's on 3kw. Probably more like mid/high 40's in a good box tuned correctly. Those Power HX2's always impressed me. Got loud and still sounded great.

Looking for a new amp, as all I have right now is a Memphis mcd1500.. It'll have to do for awhile. I'm also having trouble finding a quality 2000+rms amp @ 2 ohms that doesn't cost $87383922

Thanks I'll check that out.. However, if I'm going to get a new amp I'd kinda like to go ahead and get the full 2000rms so I can give each HX2 the 1000..

You guys REALLY think id be able to pull higher than a 145Db with these 4 on 3-3.5kw?

Most ive done was a 140.7 on an AC mic at the dash, and I was pretty satisfied with that.

I hit 144.3 with a 2500d and 1 15".... you should be able to do atleast that
