My step-dad and I love to game together on his 52" LCD... but we hate horizontal split screen. We're forced to use it, as 90% of the games we've found that allow co-op play are set up that way, but the only one I can remember that allowed vertical split screen was Rainbow 6: Las Vegas 2, I think.

COD:WAW - horizontal

GOW2 - horizontal

AO2 - horizontal

All awesome games.... just hate having to watch a screen that's 12" tall and 40" wide. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

That pretty much sums it up for me.

so would you rather have it 12in wide and 40 in tall??????//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

so you prefer 40" tall and 12" Wide??
I can't stand vertical but that's just me. I feel like I have no peripheral vision
Actually, on a 52" widescreen that wouldn't be 12" wide and 40" tall... more like 24" tall and 20" wide. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif It seems much more natural to me to have a vertical split-screen, but my solution for the future is just to link 3 or 4 Xboxs, each with it's own 52" LCD. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

No peripheral vision, which is more important in an FPS... r-tard...
nG
Haha... ok tool. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

win

anyone who said 12" wide and 40" tall fails at logical thinking

I am getting used to the horizontal split, slowly... Maybe the vertical split reminds me of something else..... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
