nice... but i know they cant handle much more than that in that big of a box. i had 8kw on 2 hdc3 12's in a very similar box and they could only play 35hz full tilt w/o bottoming out but it was loud as balls.

you mean they cant hadle more power?? dude these things werent even warm after all the testing we did. they could handle a lot more power. and the bottoming out is more due to the box. if i go below 38hz they will bottom out but thats because my box is tuned to 38hz, but anything above that is fair game. you know what i mean?

if i go enough below 38, yes. its not something that i have REALLY tested. ive played very low songs at 3/4 - 4/5 volume and they are fine. i did one song that was in the lower 30's full tilt once and they bottomed out so i dont do that anymore.

this is what happens to me too. i can give my alphas sick amounts of power near tuning and even below but around 45-55hz i bottom out really bad.
