Alright so Im getting a 6" coil over lift kit for my 1995 Jeep Wrangler along with with some 35s. Ive already got 15" Pro Comp Wheels and need some help on choosing which tires to get.

This is my wheel i have already

Im leaning more towards the BFGoodrich Krawler T/A Tire

If your going to be doin any street driving with it I'd check out the BFG KM2's. Look just like the krawler, supposed to perform good offroad, but supposed to be alot better on the street too.

I decided on 6" because i know that it will clear the 35s, I am also deciding on whether to get the coil overs or leaf spring lifts. basically i want to get the best bang for the buck. the leaf spring is $1000 and the coil over lift is $1500-1700. I would like to have a jeep that rides really smooth and does not jump up whenever i run over bumps. I wont be doing too much offroading, its more of a showroom jeep. Can you recommend something better?

Go to tirerack.com they have almost every tire you can name and countless reviews about each one, it's a great site for selecting new tires, atleast for myself. And whichever tire you go with, make sure you post pictures. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

if you wont be off road much go with the leaf springs. just make sure you get springs that are a little softer ride.

the coil overs a really nice but for on road you wouldnt get everything out of them.

you could run 35s with a 3 or 4 inch lift. that would also keep your center of gravity lower.

with a 3 or 4" lift i would most likely have to mod and cut out the fenders to clear the 35s. Although I do like out the 4" lift looks.

i have a 94 YJ on monoleafs. i run a 35" MTZ. i work for a suspension shop. we do lots of hardcore rigs. if i had to do it all over again, i would go for a set of goodyear mtr's.

agreed on the MTR

great tire for on and off road.

very good tread wear

as long as your arent going out and getting huge articulation in your suspension a 4 inch would work without any major mods. you may get by without cutting at all

im posting a jeep forum right now about the 4" lift clearing 35s and some other things on chevy small blocks 383 and trannys

3" on a YJ wont let you run 35"s unless you get out the sawzall. leafs, coils, and coilovers have all been extremely proven off road. i know lots of guys that prefer a leaf to a coil in most off roading including crawling. with a 3-4" on a YJ, i would most definitely go for a set of 33"s.

also, remember, you are on a dana 35 rear end. its just a matter of time before it breaks with running a 35" tire. if you plan on running lockers, its even worse. if you plain on wheeling, i would recommend a ford 8.8 swap. pretty much a simple swap with a grinder and a welder. with a 6" lift you are going to need a CV rear driveshaft. yours can be modified. and you are going to need a short shaft (slip yoke eliminator) kit for your np231 transfer case. otherwise without those two, you will pull the yoke out of the transfer case.

here is mine, below is my gf's dad's, but thats a whole different story. and this isnt the everyday car, if you are wondering why i spent money on a stereo for it. it has no stereo at all. no carpet, just two seats, two sticks, and a dash.
