3000w-ish for 12" Fi BTL

Im for sure getting a 12" Fi BTL now and ive really been looking at the Sundown 2000w, mainly because of this amps rep for being a true 2k and possibly more with good wiring, and also just hitting clean and solid. BUT is there anything a little cheaper? I couldnt find this for under 600, id also like to run maybe 3k or so to it if i can find a good amp. Considering the sub is 2k rms/ 5k peak. Its just i see alot of other amps out there in the 300$ range and having 2k+ watts, just would like to keep the same quality as im not looking for dirty power. What are your opinions?
