$3000 dollar opportunity

I'm getting $3000 over the summer, and I don't know whether or not to get a new system, or fix my ride up. My current system consists of two Alpine Type R 15s in a 8.0ft^3 box. Audiopipe 1500w amp, with the wiring to match it.

ya do you want to commit all that to audio? id do 2 15s and a 4k watt amp, but then you got to look at elec and all that shit. but with 3ks should be plenty.

Not even.

If he sells the audio he has now and uses 1k wisely on upgrading equipment and electrical he should have a **** loud system.

Then sell car and add 2k to that.

Well, there is a bit of cosmetic damage to the left rocker panel that will cost approximately $1195, and my motor is going to bite the big one soon. That alone would cost like, $2700-2900. I'm just not sure. I drive a 97' Ford Explorer, and I would like to fix it up enough to compete in car shows and ****.

depends what car he has might not need to sell car at all and as for stereo might have to front the money while waiting for his to sell not everything sells fast nowadays even when priced very reasonable..

sell it for a bit if you can and then get a nicer one and start from there its not worth the money to dump into it to fix it..

in that case i would think. lets say your engine does go right after you did upgrade your system, would u have enough money to fix it with out having to sell your stuff? in your case i probably would just not do anything to the car that you could not take out or off incase you engine blows and you decide to buy a new car.

manuals are fast off the line vs the auto models
