3 x DD1512 or 2 x DD 2515 ?

I have a 3000w amp. @ 2 ohms and 2.66ohms it gives me almost the same power (a bit less).. and about 6 cu.ft. (considering woofer displacement wood port ...)

Yes, 2 15 probably will have a little more cone area (DD doesn't show "sd" parameter) but considering that 2500 series has a 80mm suspension and 1500 a 55mm suspension I think it will be almost the same.

3 12's (1500) have 360oz of magnet weight (more magnetic field ?)and can handle 1500rms of power. 2 15's (2500) have 320oz of magnet weight but can handle 1500rms as well. I can't compare another parameters because I onle have the 2500's FS.. but not QTS, VAS, etc...

I don't know if I'm thinking right... that's why I asked you.

You would be happy with any of the setups, But you will need to aim for 1 to 1.5, DD has a lot of rise and at 2.66 your power will be way down. Do the 3 as Single 4's.

I would do the 3 12's we have done a few triple setups lately and they work out real good for a great punch on rock and stuff like that.

ok.. thanks
will I have a real deep bass with 3 12's or to have this I must go with 15's ?
The 12's should absolutely give you a great low end.

I personally too would do 3 12's. Its not everyday you see a 3 sub set-up. Gives you that nice 'wow' factor when people first see what you have too.
