Just wanted some experienced opinions. Would three 12" w3v3 subs be louder/hit harder than two 12" w6v2's? In a sealed 1.25 enclosure per sub. I know typically more cone mass means louder but the w6's look quite superior over the w3's. ( i have 1 w3 and was never really impressed with it) i could save money and get 2 more w3's but if w6 is better, i'm willing to pay more.
2nd question: JLA recommends 1.25 ft3 sealed for either subs. Would going slightly smaller or larger per sub make much of a sound difference? IF i got 2 w6's, i was going to use a larger than recommended box, IF i used 3 w3's, i'll have to do a smaller ft3 per sub so it would fit in my trunk....probably closer to .88 ft3 per sub if not a bit less....so would they still hit harder or would 2 w6's in this case in proper boxes be better?
Final question: where is that website that has a built in sub box maker where you enter in dimensions you want and ft3 and it spits out a diagram showing you the dimensions for each sheet of wood.
