ok im have an issue here i got 2 12 jl w-0 and was offered a 3rd . i also got 1 jl w3 15 i could sell the w0's and get another 15w3 . what would be better for spl and sq . amp is a 500/1

Buying JL audio is never a waste of money IMO, true there are cheaper subs that are just as good or better, but JL audio is a really reliable name brand.

it is reliable yes, but other things for just the same amount of money and quality that surpasses the W3 are a better way to go. the only sub i would be interested in from JL as sar as subs or speakers for that matter are the W6v2. other than that, personally i dont like the sound of the W7

if you want to stick with JL do the W3 V2 for sure... otherwise I'd look at another brand... maybe Diamond D3's, they are at the same price point

Definately the 2 15W3v2. For SQ, sell the 15 and the 2 W0s and buy two 12W3v2 or one 12W7. This is of course the recomendation for the brand loyalty of JL. I have other recomendations but will refrain for now.
